Thathpara Ahoratra respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us: your email when you subscribe to the newsletter; your name and contact details when you submit a question or request a consultation. We also collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (via Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

To reply to your questions, arrange consultations, send occasional updates you have asked for, and improve the site. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it except as needed to operate these services.

Birth & personal details

If you request a Jyotiṣa reading, the birth details you provide (date, place, and time of birth) are used only to prepare that reading. They are treated as private, never shared, and never sold.

How long we keep it

We keep questions, consultation requests, and subscriptions only as long as needed to serve you — and we delete them whenever you ask. Anonymous analytics are retained in aggregate.

Who else is involved

A few trusted services help us run the site: Google Analytics (anonymous, aggregated usage — only if you accept analytics), Cloudflare (secure hosting, delivery, and privacy-first, cookieless visit measurement), Sentry (error monitoring, so we can fix faults — no personal data), and our email inbox for replying to you. We share only what each needs to do its job.

Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand what's helpful. On your first visit you can accept or decline analytics, and we honour browser "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control signals automatically. Declining loses you nothing — all the content stays open. You can change your choice any time via “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

Children

This site shares educational material and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from emails at any time, accept or decline analytics whenever you like, and ask us to delete the details you submitted by writing to thathparaahoratra@gmail.com.
